LET'S
HIT THE TRAILS ON OUR PERUVIAN PASO HORSES!
The
Santa Ynez Valley is one of the most beautiful places we've
seen.
Here's a photo gallery showing life at Rancho Vilasa and
the Nathan family and friends having a blast riding.

NEVER
SAY YOU CAN'T WORK CATTLE ON A PASO!!!
LA
BEBA
IS ON THE JOB.
We have another mare with so much "cow"
that she pins her ears and attacks when she sees
a bovine.
A friend had an Appie/Paso cross that jumped a barbed
wife fence to head a cow-- with her rider. EEE-HAH!

RANCHO
VILASA HAS BLOSSOMED SINCE WE'VE BEEN HERE:
Our
round pen is almost invisible behind flowers and foliage.

YOU
CAN'T SEE THE CORRALS FOR THE TREES

THE
GRAPE COVERED MAIN BARN
We've
discovered how to get that trendy, funky "New Mexico"
look: don't paint your barn! Patch the stucco and don't
paint it! Pretty soon, your place will very very
chic! Actually-- we're painting as soon as we can agree
on a color.

VILASA
COMIN' THROUGH THE REDWOODS
You'd
swear you were in Mendocino, the redwoods have done so
well!

RANCHO VILASA DOGS.

UNCLE EDDIE AND HIS TWO BOYS, SHAMBHO
AND TECOLOTE
Sandy
Nathan's favorite horse, Eddie, has been "laid off"
while Sandy recuperates from her knee replacement. He's
taken over baby-sitting duties for weanlings, Chamber
and Tecolote. The three are a sweet trio: Uncle Eddie
takes his duties seriously, protecting his charges. Here,
Tony and Vilasa stop to say hello on their way out to
the trails.
